Returns policy


We anticipate that you will be delighted with the pieces you purchase from us. As a consumer within the European union the Distance selling regulations apply to purchases you make at a distance, online or over the phone. Where necessary we offer a full refund policy with 14 days of purchase, items must be returned undamaged and wrapped in the same condition they were sent within 14 days of purchase. All return shipping is met by the buyer

Please keep in mind before purchasing that age appropriate wear is part of buying Vintage and Antiques and this is a disclaimer that you are buying used items that may have wear and/or flaws which the pictures cannot depict, sold 'as is' and not new. Please do not purchase vintage/antiques if you expect 'new', they have been used and will show signs of use due to this. All the vintage and antique items we sell are repaired where necessary i.e. feet, minor repairs to missing parts using appropriate materials and may show signs of historical marks or woodworm, they are all sold 'fit' for good usable purpose. Any major defects will be noted in the description, items can not be returned due to the above.

PLEASE NOTE: Any items that have been personalised, bespoke or custom made for you are non refundable buy UK Law. i.e painted or waxed items

All delivery costs are met by the buyer, to you and for return. Shipping/delivery costs are non-refundable.

If you would like to return your furniture order, contact must be done by email to within 24 hours of receiving your item explaining the reason for cancelling.

All item must be returned exactly how it was sent to you i.e. packaging and returned by 14 days from the delivery date, all return delivery costs are met by the buyer. Please make sure you have a courier with adequate insurance for the return delivery as any damages/costs will be your responsibility . Please contact us for the return address for delivery.

All items sent out for delivery are packaged and wrapped buy us with care and photos are taken.

Once returned we will inspect the item is brought back in the exact same condition it was sent to you and suitable for resale. If there any signs of use, damages or signs of placing the furniture inadequately and the item fails the inspection they will remain your property and you will be responsible for their collection. Alternatively, any damages, sign of use or work needed to be done for resale on the item will occur costs at the current rate that you will be liable for.


Refunds will be issued once the item has passed the inspection on return and payment will be refunded within 14 days. You will be refunded using the method you used to pay for the Goods.

Important: Items delivered by third party courier must be checked/inspected by the buyer and any damages notified on arrival, once the courier has made delivery and not notified about any damages the buyer will be liable for any damages occurred once delivery has been made. A full refund will not be issued

Any damages in transit are not the responsibility/liability of the Antique pine workshop, we arrange delivery as part of a service we offer and is a contract between you the buyer & courier, the courier(s) does not work for or affiliated with the Antique pine workshop.

Please inspect your item(s) on delivery day for damages and notify the courier as soon as possible as damages will not be accepted after, the courier has the appropriate insurance for damages. Please send photos of any damages to within 2 days of the delivery and an insurance claim or repair to the item will be made if applicable by a suitable restorer by the courier.


Items that are bespoke/commissioned or made to order, personalised to your specific requirements are non refundable i.e. altered, waxed, painted, refurbished or colour choices/slight colour variations on any items from our website.

A suitable replacement/refund may be issued only if the above item(s) is faulty or differs from the description.

You have just changed your mind

For any damages occurred, after the buyer has checked/inspected items for damages on delivery/ has been made, due to misuse or inadequate placing/fitting

The Antique pine workshop will not return/refund: or held responsible for any damages occurred by the buyer for misuse, wear & tear or inadequate placing/fitting of furniture, miscalculating dimensions for items delivered/placed in your home, colour variations due to monitor screens and any slight movement in the furniture which is out of our control.


We hope you are delighted with your purchase from the Antique pine workshop,  If however you decide you would like to return or exchange your item(s) you have 14 days from the date of delivery to return it in its original packaging and resalable condition under the Distance selling regulations.

Return items should be unused.

Bespoke or personalised items are non refundable under UK Law.

Please contact us at to notify us with the decision for returning the item/s, please give details of the item your returning with your name, address and contact details ( phone and email address), will we then forward you the return address.

Refunds will only be given once we have received the item/s and they have been inspected for any damage . Once returned we will inspect the item is brought back in the exact same condition it was sent to you and suitable for resale, if any mishandling to item by the buyer has occurred we may make a  deduction from the refund


Please allow up to 14 working days for your refund to be processed.

Return postage shall be paid by the customer unless the item(s) arrived with the customer in a damaged condition.

Non returnable: 'Just to change of mind' please inform us of this decision as we do not offer a full refund.
